1. Can I feed inventory to my own website, not hosted by Dealer Solutions?

Most likely, the answer is yes.  You will need to have your website company send their specifications to the email address datafeeds@kgisolutions.com to know for sure.  However, please read our Web FAQs first to make sure this is the best fit for you.

2. What sites can I send feeds to?

For the most part, we can send feeds to any company that meets our specifications and requirements and vice versa.  Some companies we are already doing business with, some will need to be a custom FTP feed.  If you are interested in sending a feed to one or more of these companies, please contact your representative or email us directly at datafeeds@kgisolutions.com.  For more information on companies we already do business with, please see our Who Do We Feed To? section.

3. How often do you send a feed to each of my sites?

When we set up automatic feeds, each feed is sent once a day.  (This excludes your Dealer Solutions website which can be updated as often as you like.)  You will have the ability to send a feed manually as often as you like but keep in mind that most companies only process their feeds once a day so sending an update more often than that is not necessary.

4. How often is the site I am sending to being updated?

This depends purely on the specific company we are sending but but in our experience, most sites are updated every 24 hours.  Please check with a representative from the site in question to know for sure.


5. What do I have to do to send the feed?

Once the feed is set up, nothing!  Most feeds will be set to run automatically and all you need to do is stock in inventory and sell vehicles as you normally would for your changes to take effect. 

6. What information gets sent in the feed?

This can depend on the specifications of the site we are sending to but, for the most part, we send Vehicle Specifications, Listing Info & Options, Asking Price, Additional Notes, and as many pictures as you have for each vehicle.


7. How much does each feed cost?

With Dealer Solutions Software Suite, all feeds are included!  Please keep in mind that you need to have an account with each company you want us to send a feed to and that their rates apply.
